Satan gains control of your life by imprinting you with Identity Lies through painful events in you past. Ephesians 4:26-27 – “Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil.”

God uses Satan to refine our lives so we become better servants of Christ. Luke 22:31-32 – “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat. But I have pleaded in prayer for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen your brothers.”
Spiritual Freedom #3: Satan’s Prisons: the Lie Fortress
Lie Fortresses in your subconscious mind are formed by IDENTITY LIES and accessed by embracing negative feelings. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 – “The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.”
Spiritual Freedom #2: Satan’s Power is Lies
Satan’s only power is a lie, so the only weapon you need is the truth. – 1 Peter 5:9 – Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are.

You have a powerful and cruel enemy who is working around you and in you to destroy your life 1 Peter 5:8 – Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
