Ben Grose

Ben was one of the first children born to New Life church members, but sadly his parents divorced when he was five and he was raised in California. Ben grew up with bitterness for the church and God and had some seriously wayward years as a teenager and early 20s adult. God graciously saved Ben at 26 years old in Madison, Wisconsin and gave him a powerful experience of conversion and redemption.

Ben has since returned to New Life and was baptized eight years ago. Ben and his wife Amy met through the Core Campus Fellowship, which is New Life’s college ministry, and have been married for six years.  They have two young daughters, who are very good at talking and snuggling.

Ben’s desire since being saved has been to go into ministry and God opened that door in June 2022 when Ben came on staff at New Life. One of Ben’s life verses is 1 Timothy 1:16, “But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in him and receive eternal life.” This is primarily Ben’s motivation in ministry, to share his own example of salvation and to aid others in finding an ever-deepening communion with a loving Father.
